FAQ

Questions about these simulations

Are these figures results achieved for clients?
No. They are simulations: our calculator applied to a typical business in each industry, with its default assumptions (volumes, minutes, automatable share). No figure on this page is a client result.
How are these hours calculated?
For each task: weekly volume × minutes of manual work × automatable share, divided by 60; the tasks are added up. Hours per year = hours per week × 47 weeks; value = hours per year × €35/h. It is exactly the formula of the calculator and the industry pages.
Why 47 weeks and €35/h?
47 working weeks a year allow for leave, public holidays and quiet periods; €35/h is a default hourly cost, to replace with yours in the calculator. These assumptions are explained on the Methodology page.
How do I get an estimate for my business?
Click “Simulate” on your industry’s row: the calculator opens with that scenario, which you adjust to your volumes, times and hourly cost. The free 30-minute assessment then checks the estimate against your real tasks.
Can I reuse this data?
You can download the CSV and cite these simulations, mentioning Iselia Projects, the link to this page and the fact that they are simulations, not client results.
